Easy Converter ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our file conversion service.

2. File Processing

Easy Converter processes files in two ways:

  • Local Processing: Images, audio, and documents are processed entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device.
  • Server Processing: Video files are uploaded to our conversion server for processing. Files are deleted from the server after conversion is complete and are not stored permanently.

3. Data Collection

Easy Converter does not collect personal information. We do not require accounts, email addresses, or any registration. We use the following analytics and advertising services to understand general usage patterns and keep the service free:

  • Plausible Analytics: a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies or collect personal data.
  • Google Analytics: used to understand visitor behavior. It may use cookies to collect anonymized usage data.
  • Advertising partners: services such as Google AdSense and Monetag may be used to display advertising. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure, and improve ads.

You can control advertising cookies through your browser settings or via Google's Ads Settings.

4. Cookies

Easy Converter does not use tracking cookies for core conversion functionality. We use local storage only for your preferences (theme, settings, locale) which never leave your browser. Our analytics and advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in the Data Collection section above.

5. Third-Party Services

Easy Converter uses the following third-party resources: CDN (jsdelivr.net) for loading the FFmpeg WebAssembly worker for audio conversion. Formspree for processing contact form submissions. Google Analytics and advertising partners such as Google AdSense and Monetag for analytics and advertising. No personal data is shared with these services beyond what is necessary for the service to function.
